Izzy's first Mats!

Yep grooming kit needs preparing, that's how it starts & then it only gets worse :/
Izzie now gets them behind her front & back legs & above her back legs, around her bum & on her tummy, nightmare! She doesn't get them as much around her ears anymore though. Good luck Ali

I am in the same position as you...the matts have just started! I thought I had got them all out last week and now they are worse than ever. Today I bought a Matt buster thingy from PAH, another £15 spent, but a very good purchase as I have been able to get them all out! It tool ages and amazingly Daisy just lay there and fell asleep! The brush removed alot of under coat type hair (or maybe it was just matts?). I am determined to try and keep on top of it! Good luck getting rid of Izzy's and feel free to share any grooming tips! x

Regular combing with a metal comb is the best preventative measure for Maisie's coat ... but they are all slightly different.

I used my Tropiclean detangler on her for the first time - good stuff
Also bathed her in Pethead Passion Fruit shampoo - she smells like a tropical paradise and is so white and fluffy :hug:
I've had her on my knee, stroking and smelling her all evening :laugh:

Our detangler arrived Friday evening so Saturday morning was a shampoo, condition, detangle and brush but after one day they seemed to be more matts than before!

Betty and Izzy seem to be running parrellel. I found Betty's first Matts
behind her ears on the day of the grooming course ( which were promptly
cut out but the instructor without discussion )

I thought it may have had something to do with her new (flat) collar as
I was previously using a braided collar...

Daily brushing for missy bossy knickers now..
