Hi,
We bought Kipper a hoof today- it's gross but she absolutely LOVES it!!
She has been chewing like a dog possessed every time we give it to her.
Slight downside is that it's a bit whiffy (But it did mean we could have a bit of a rest from saying 'OFF Kipper!!'
And- a bargain at only 30 odd pence!

(shame I keep visualising a cow hobbling round with a hoof missing!!)

That's good that she loved it. I bought Daisy a stuffed hoof from rawtogo and she just ate all of mince and then left it!

We had one of those for Ruby and she loved it too but we couldn't handle the smell. We've now moved on to Stagbars - more expensive but they last ages and she loves them just as much, and there's no smell!

Hi Helen,
She has got a stag bar but she's not really interested in it (unless it's smeared with honey!)
The hoof will be brought out for special treats- when we're desperate for a break!!! The trouble is that now, every time she gets a bit bitey, the kids say 'Give her the hoof, give her the hoof!' but I really want them (and her) to learn how to deal with it.
