Hi all

We are doing reasonably well with Cara on nature diet apart from the fish one.

What do you guys do with all the un opened packs, part bags etc that they won't eat.

We have 17 packs of fish nature diet (adult) should anyone wish to purchase it and an unopened bag and part bag of hills dried puppy food.

At this rate i'll be able to start a mini dog food stall in the New Year.

I usually donate food to my favourite rescue.

Sometimes you see places like Pets at home have donations for food.

At this time of year the shelters would be very pleased to receive it.

Thanks for this question, I too have some that's not liked but can't bring myself to just throw it out, never thought about the shelters, will definitely donate ours

its not.that they are picky, some sick people poosen dog food before donating it. so most csnters will only take tined food as it cant be tampered with.

even an un opened bag of dry food could have been injected with something to hurt or kill the dogs.

I realise they need to be careful...it is a shame tho as so much food must get wasted because of fussy dogs. This problem applies to all shelters but some take it readily whilst others do not.

Hills do a full money back guarantee- take the bags back to where they were purchased from and they should be able to give you some money back!! The place where you bought it from get re-imbursed from hills so won't be out of pocket

Ah well, maybe the rescue route. Our Pets at Home collects for retired greyhounds.

you shouldn't need the reciept. try calling hills directly - number is on the side of the bag. i don't ask for proof of purchase as hills don't ask us for it
