Hi, my name is Maureen and I have a five month old cockapoo named Alfie. He is wonderful in every way apart from car travel. It doesn't matter whether he goes two miles or ten he is always sick, sometimes on the way there and on the way back!! Anyone got any cures/advice?

Inca was car sick as a puppy, it wasn't till we did a 2 hour journey to the beach that she stopped. does he like the car or does he stress and not want to go in?
can he see out the window(sometimes watching everything moving so quick past them can make them sick)

can you tell me what he is like for going to the car, on the car journey and when you get to your destination and take him out?

oop sorry forgot to say hi and welcome lol

Hi Maureen sorry no real experience, Wilfs fine but he was out inthe car every day so quickly got used to it mabel is only 16 weeks goes in the car regularly but still witters but has nt been sick. I think I read when looking for "dog" car seats that they were better if they could see out of the window ... but ont know. Hope you manage to get it sorted x

He seems very relaxed in the car. Plays with his toys and it doesn't seem to matter whether he looks out the windows or sits still. He was on the back seat but now we've put him behind the back seats (hatchback car). He seems happy getting in the car and always has a good experience when he gets to the destination.

Thanks for trying to help.

Rufus gets sick in the car sometimes too. He seems a little nervous about getting in but is getting better. Sometimes he whines while we're driving and seems a little uneasy but sometimes he just lies down and looks very cozy and happy. Then he pukes haha. I want to keep trying to get him used to it because we want to be able to drive him around whenever we want and for him to be happy and comfortable but I also don't want him to keep puking!
