Hi all

I have been very lapse in introducing little Daisy who was picked up last Friday. She and Ruby who are full Sisters from consecutive litters are loving each others company and get on even better than I can ever have imagined. They play together, curl up together and share twigs and toys!

She is a black phantom with a white chest, feet and a single white spot on the back of her neck. The tan colouring on her legs, eyebrows and under her tail are becoming more prominent as her coat developes. I am looking forward to seeing how it turns out.

Daisy has settled in great, and is well on the way to being house trained. She has slept through the night since day one and is happy to retreat to the puppy pen in the day after a good play with Rubes

So here she is, with Rubes getting in on the action as well!

Anyone thinking about getting a second, I was anxious before hand, but would now definately recommend it.

J x

Welcome Daisy :)

Daisy and Ruby look very content with each other .. lovely .. how old is Ruby?

Congrats on your new puppy xxx
Ruby is 14 months, so there was a year between the litters, Ruby is from her mums second litter and Daisy her third and last as she will be spayed once she is ready. Their Mum is a tri coloured cocker and their Dad and apricot and white particolour poodle so the colour combinations of each litter have been amazing. Their breeder is a good friend of mine, so I was able to watch some of Daisy's litter be born. I missed Daisy though! Having had a lot of past experience with breeding but never having done it myself I am thinking about breeding myself with Ruby when the time is right. My friend who has been breeding cockapoo's for about 10 years reckons that Rubes would produce a beautiful litter if bred back to a miniature poodle. x

Welcome home Daisy :D
Aww i'm so glad they get on so well!
Can I just ask, did they get on straight away from day 1? Or did it take a few days for Ruby to get used to everything?
I only ask because we just brought Poppy home yesterday (and have Izzie who is almost 13 months old her half sister) but Izzie was jealous about Poppy being picked up, and is very possessive of her toys & treats!
So I was wondering if your two had any problems at first or if everything was fine straight away?
Thanks, Laura x
For the first day Ruby was definately unsure what to make of her... if Daisy wagged her tail and it touched her she moved away and she did take toys off of her for the first couple of days but soon realised she was no threat and now drops the toys in front of Daisy to initiate play. Izzie is probably just adapting to the new situation, I'm sure it will be fine in a couple of days. J x

Ah little Daisy is adorable. Lovely pics with big sis Ruby. Everyone who has got no.2 has said the same thing, no regrets at all. Fab!
Have we convinced you yet Clare ha ha ha? :)

Okay thank you very much :D We only brought her home about 6:30pm last night, so am hoping to see a bigger improvement over the next couple of days, I hope it is just adapting & the jealousy turns into a friendship :) x
