I met two new cockapoos today on separate occasions- both apricot and both from Jandaz , Winnie and Flo. Dexter was so happy- I'm sure he recognises his own breed or should I say 'cross-breed'!

That's nice.

I don't really get to meet many. I have one or two in our town.

Was at a fun dog show the other month and met a couple. I go into overdrive if I see any though-coz I love to meet them and their owners :)

So far I have 'discovered' four in our local area and a friend of mine will be collecting her new little one form JD towards the end of August. I also found out yesterday that one of my son's teachers has a Cavapoo! We all have fab taste in dogs round here! ;)

Dog walking seems to be very sociable here so I am really looking forward to getting out with everyone and their dogs! :)

I have only seen one in my area though there are probably lots more as everyone seems to know someone who has one! We are going to the All About Dogs day at our local Showground on 20 August so hopefully may see some there :)

I regularly bump into 4 other cockapoos and once there were 4 of us which was great like M&M's mummy I love meeting other owners you cant help but be attracted, make a b line and then compare and contrast. When you've all said if you've seen cockapoos locally could nt help but glimpse up to see where you were from.... whats the weather like today... in " over the hills and far away" and " fending off the numpties" looking for day trips in holidays is it worth a visit " ???? :D:D

When I first contacted my breeder I mentioned I particularly liked the look of one of the puppies on her website. Oddly enough the new owner lives in the next town from me (but 200 miles away from the breeder!) - she put us in touch so I have now met the owner and her two lovely cockapoo girls. We went for a lovely walk on the beach and she was able to reassure me about my decision to go with the breeder. We are now on very friendly terms and I cannot wait to introduce my puppy (3 days to go) to his 2 cousins

What a coincidence and great for socialising your new puppy and being able to see what he might turn out like. Does your pup look like his cousins or is he a different colour.... sorry if ive missed or forgotten your post but has he got a name... so many new pups its hard to keep up x

Therein lies the dilemma!! I originally chose a lovely blond & apricot boy, to be called Lucca. He will be very similar in colouring to the girls. However now a black & white boy has become available who is gorgeous too so we will make our final decision when we go to collect him on Saturday. If we choose the b&w boy we may call him Rocco instead (A long story....) x

You must nt have posted it then  I think I would have remembered , but grey cells are ageing so you never know... gosh hard choice to make, you'll just have to see which pups personality suites your family. Both lovely Italian names, good luck and keep us posted x

I met a boy puppy from the same breeder at puppy class and then NO MORE! I am very sad. And the reason I found out about cockapoos was because I bumped into one when running in my local park. But I have never met him again. Poor lonely Rosie.

What an ice breaker.... "oh a cockapoo !!!" Lol I was posting it cos Louise has only seen one in Northamptonshire but I think she's nearer to Daventry (????) If I spot a cockapoo Im in there but I think we cockapoo owners must be of an ilk cos they never seem to mind ;) they are always quite up for a cockapoo chat x
