Hi!

Minnie is almost 8 weeks now and if had her almost a week she's doing so well, so pleased as to how she has settled down!

Now that shes getting more active she can get quite carried away when she plays and bites you instead of her own toys- I completely understand she's a pup and all puppies bite but I want to nip this in the bud right away before she gets any older. When she does go to bite anyone or anything she shouldn't I give her a toy to play with instead, iv heard spraying them with water can work but is she still to young to do that? Any advice?!? She's soo tiny as well weighs less than 1lb when we took her to the vet! So I don't want to try this to young!

And as she's so tiny were so worried about standing on her- she's follows us everywhere - just got to be soo careful!

Thank you very much

She sounds to be doing really well, little dot. I just did what you are doing and always had a toy ready to subsitute for my hand, maybe you could try a high pitched squeal so she knows she has hurt you which is what her litter mates would do and move away. So difficult when they are around your feet, the number of times you stumble so as not to step on them or jar your back as you quickly turn the other way.... Mable is still forever under foot, but alot bigger lol x
