Hi Our poo Tiffin is almost 1 year old and been exclusively fed on Origen puppy food in that time.
She has started to be less excited when a new bowl of Origen appears each morning. I was considering moving onto Origen Adult.
WHat is the best way to do this - or are there any other good recomendations for dry food.

Thanks

I doubt if many (or even any) dry dog foods come anywhere near the standard and content of Orijen.
Whilst it does fall short of a true BARF diet it is as close as you can get without the need for a freezer or a very friendly Butcher.
Changing to Orijen Adult or even another variety is not likely to cause any long term harm to your pet but you can help of course by making the changeover quite gradual. Oh and dont forget, if changing to another type of dry food, to check the ingredients list just to be sure the new product isnt full of nutritionally neutral fillers and bulking agents.

I feed Natural Instinct (ready made BARF) but before that I tried Origen when Obi was a puppy and he just wouldn't eat it and when he did he had very soft stools. A lot of people I know feed Barking heads kibble if you prefer to stay on dry food but check out the ingredients for yourself and make up your own mind.
