I started Bonnie straight onto Natural Instinct Puppy food on day one of having her at 8 weeks old. She had been weened onto Beta. She has never had a day's runny tummy and has never looked back. I didn't introduce it gradually either. I wish I had done the same with Dexter as I struggled with getting him to eat at all and he was underweight for a while but I was anxious about changing to a new food too quickly. It also took me several attempts to find him a suitable food. Bonnie also has a chicken wing a day which she absolutely adores.

Rosie also has natural instinct puppy food and chicken wings...she goes ceazy for it. Initally she has puppy kibble from the vets, and it was a struggle getting her to eat it. We have 2 old westies who have raw to go food, and rosie was forever trying to eat their food...so much so we we had to keep them seperate in different rooms durinf meal times. So a couple of weeks ago i got natural instint puupy food for her, shes so much more content. Id recommend it to new puppy owners

Hi Tess,

Glad Bonnie is thriving on her NI and chicken wings. I wish I had discovered NI when Maisie was a pup as she never ate well at all. Both mine have the different NI flavours now happily and the odd chicken wing and bone ... much more appealing than kibble to them I think, though I still use Orijen kibble as training treats.

Do Bonnie and Dexter play together happily?

Sue they have a wonderful bond already and play together for hours! Sometimes Dex gets a bit rough so he has time out but they are the best of friends and they dote on each other. They cant beat to be parted, so glad I went for a second!

Glad to see your puppy is getting on well with NI. keep up giving the chicken wings. we discussed the feeding of bones with NI at a seminar last week and we came to the conclusion that some puppies are getting bored with the texture of NI, but ones that also have bones are happy with NI. Dogs need to chew and supplementing with bones is the trick. it has worked for me.
