Hi,

For those who feed Naturediet to their puppies: do you go by the amounts given on the packaging for a small dog or for a medium dog? I am just changing Felfel to Naturediet and wonder how much to feed her.

For those who remember her, Felfel has been doing very well. She has such a nice and gentle character, gets along well with others and is the star at the puppy class. While most other puppies bark, complain and partly go crazy, she sits and observes everyone patiently. She is the dog of choice when shy dogs are socialised at the class. She knows come and sit and walks well on the lead. In the park she runs without the lead and always comes back when called. However, she doesn't like car rides and throws up every time she goes in it  What else? Oh yes, I used to read on the forums that people always ask Cockapoo owners about the breed the dog. Amazing! I cannot take her out without being asked by everyone at the park and outside what type of dog she is. Most people are amazed by the touch and feel of her coat. There seems to be something about Cockapoos. People love them and so do we!

Sorry for the long post.

Hi I swap between Nature diet and Wainwrights Hattie is quite happy with either I probably get between 3/4 and a full pack of either a day. She seems to be keeping a good outline we will see when she gets a second vet check after Christmas! As long as she eats I am happy but will try to cut down to 3 meals a day soon she is now 12 weeks. For info stools are firm and well formed goes three times in the morning maybe once in the evening but so far so good!

Poppy is very fussy and doesn't really like her dry food much. I give her Natures Diet puppy food in the evenings and started with just a third but she loved it and was pawing her empty bowl so have upped it to half the pack.

She only eats 3 meals a day. Not sure if I should give her the other half in the mornings though!

Cara has 500-600g per day and weighs in now at 10kg. She won't entertain the fish one. We feed her 3 times per day xx
Betty loves all the flavours even the fish one, it's me that can't cope with the smell of it!!

Betty is 20 months so fully grown but only 5 kg in weight and she has two meals a day each of 1/3 of a pack, so approx 300g a day. This seems fine for her and she can still have some treats too.

With you on that one. I came in from work and Derek said she would not touch it so he'd picked it up and left it in the utility. I opened the door to the most awful smell. Off to the bin and a few hours of scented candles later I think my nostrils forgave me xx

i know bless her. I forget how little she is! She was only 1.4kg when i first got her and had her weighed at the vets at 8.5 weeks.

She's small but perfectly formed but with a big personality (in my view anyway!) but sure can take up space on my bed for such a small dog!!!!

Thanks for all your replies. Following the nurse's advice I have fed Felfel twice a day. Once in the morning and once at around 5pm. Sometimes she has a chicken wing in between. She used to be on JWB mixed with her kibble. She used to eat it all right, but watching her eat her Naturediet has given "wolfing it down" a new meaning. She loves it and I am glad to have changed to ND. So far I have given her 1/3 of a tray per meal, but feel that this is not enough on those days when she has no wings.

In one of the threads on this forum I found a recommendation for Swell Pets. So, I ordered 162 trays of ND. They have an interesting offer and their service was excellent. I ordered at 3pm and had 3 big and heavy boxes of ND in front of my door the next morning, at 8:30am. I don't know how they usually do it, but they are offering free shipping for Dec, which is quite good. The link to their website: https://www.swellpets.co.uk/

Hi Jules,

Compared to Betty, Felfel feels like a giant :) She weighed 4.7 KG at around 15 weeks.
