Molly is 12 and over the last year has been learning scentwork where she needs to find hidden scents in several different searches. Today was our first try at Level 2 in a competition and she did brilliantly and qualified, finding 7 out of 8 of the hidden scents.

So very true and important! The brain needs to be trained and stimulated just like with humans! Most Cockapoos love learning something new and they are so fun to teach!
I always rolled up a tiny treat in a blanket and knotted it for my labrador. Done the same for Monty and boy he is so clever and much more patient!
Well done Molly! Look what a happy pup!

I think a lot of people think, why teach non important tricks, but I think it is so important for mental stimulation and also to improve the communication between the owner and the dog. Playful learning works wonders with Cockapoos in my opinion. Tricks are very underrated.
