Hi everyone, this is my first post although I hav been reading lots of info on the forum about cockapoos. We are picking our cockapoo puppy up on Saturday he is an F2 Apricot - we saw him when he was only one week old - then I read a few articles about F2 and started to worry if I had chosen the right dog - but after seeing a photo of him at 3 weeks old my fears went away. He is adorable and when I received a photo of him at 5 weeks you could see how curly is coat was.
He will be mainly my sons dog - who is 15 years old and he has named the puppy - MERLIN.
We are really excited now and can't wait to bring him home.

Can't wait to see pics of Merlin! If you can see he's developing a curly coat then there's no obvious difference in him being an F1 or F2, so sounds like you've got a lovely curly pup coming home soon! x

Congrats on your soon to be new puppy, love the name Merlin ... all mixes and generations of cockapoos can have differing coat textures, and by 4-6 weeks of age the texture is usually clearer to see .. Cant wait to see photos

We love the name Merlin and can't wait till we bring him home, getting a bit worried about how he is going to settle in but we have plenty of patience and will do our best.

The fact that you're worrying about how he'll settle shows your commitment towards him... He's lucky to have found such a lovely home with you
