Hi, we are colleting our new addition to our faimly this weekend Cockapoo, we allready have a dog a weinarmer lola who is two, we agreed on a cockapoo as lola has recently stayed with our friend who also has a cockapoo and they got on great toghter, whaen we had lola we caged her during the night and when we were out for short periods would this also suit a cockapoo ? also any extra information would be great :) thank u Michelle

hello and welcome, yes it would be fine, and probably best, to cage your new pupy when you are not around, and at night, especially as you have another dog, they wil need to time to get to know each other, it is great that lola got on well with your friends cockapoo, but all dogs, and breeds are different, and lola will see this as another dog, not the same as your friends( if that makes sense?) we have two dogs, and we were careful with the introductions, and if done carefully there is no reason why they should nt get on x good luck

the choices for food can be confusing and a bit overwhelming, we are changing our two dogs over to the bones and raw food diet , natures menu do a range of frozen nuggets , either direct from anglian meats, or pets at home sell it , but you do have to feed uncooked bones as well , everyday, mainly chicken , but as said above keep puppy on the same food for a while, and make any changes very gradually .
