A friend of mine organises doodle meets in the North East. Technically they are MESS (meet every second Sunday) walks, but there's a few extra as well. We usually get a good turn out with doodles of all shapes and sizes including a number of cockerpoos. I'll post more details prior to each walk but in the meantime here's the list...

North East Walks for 2012

'Labradoodle's /Doodle's/Cocker Poo's and others can get together on a M.E.S.S. (Meet Every Second Sunday)…. extra walks throughout the year, and some on a Saturday

The North East region have informal meets for owners, prospective owners, breeders etc.... Just a great day out to let the dogs go and enjoy themselves!!! We are usually out for a couple of hours, no route marches and the Doods get loads of fun and frolics. Does a Doodle ever tire out?

Comprehensive details of the walks will be posted each month with the directions and facilities available.

ALWAYS CHECK PRIOR TO THE WALK DATE ON THE FORUM TO SEE IF THERE HAS BEEN ANY AMENDMENTS OR CANCELLATIONS.

Sorry, I joined ages ago but haven't posted much.

I'm Jo, and have Freddie - black cockerpoo, 3 years old, a fabulous little chap who loves his training. We've been competing at agility for about 17 months.

The blonde bombshell is Darcey, 2 years old, who came to me from Many Tears Animal Rescue. She is a little Diva and rules the roost. She also won Scruffts Prettiest Crossbreed at Earls Court in 2009.

And Jasper is a chocolate labradoodle who will be 2 next week. He is the softest, happiest dog ever. Jasper and Darcey have also recently started competing at agility.

Hi, we are near Whitley Bay so should be able to come along to some meets :)

I think my sister bumped into some of your group at the Briar Dene pub, Whitley Bay a few months ago - she has a golden cockapoo called Lottie :)

Does Carol with Alfie and Millie belong to the group too - I know her from another forum?

Hi Jo, we will try to make a few of these meets. Are they the walks organised by Northern Doodles, I have met a few of them at the NESSR fun weekends at Druridge and other shows over the last couple of years.

Hi, yes they are the Northern Doodles walks. I run that site with Mr Monty who arranges the walks. As well as moonlighting on a few other forums lol!
