:eek::eek: Just thought I'd let off some steam.

Today Nacho has chewed up a massive piece of bark/wood in my office... No idea when he smuggled it in. It's resulted in staining my office carpet, he has then got into the bin and taken out a rotting banana skin which he has smeared everywhere, he has decided he hates his basket and is now continuing to pounce, bark and growl at it! Not to mention running off this morning across the carpark (fortunately no cars) for me then to be the butt of the builders jokes as I run like a crazy woman after him.

I think someone needs a walk.... only 2 hours of this to go!! Ahhhhh.

Still going to miss my little poo when I jet off on Saturday for 2 weeks rotting banana peel and all. Knotted stomach :(

Sorry but this made me smile! Only because I recognise the behaviour from my own Dexter. They do have naughty days don't they?
However,I am glad there were no cars when he ran across the car park. :)
Hang in there!
I know exactly what you mean. Whenever I leave the room even to go to the bathroom Beau does something naughty in my absence. All of my dog walking jackets have had the little toggles removed and any elasticated cord has also been chewed off. He also goes into the bin and helps himself if the lid has sprung open. It is only a matter of time before he figures out how to open it himself. My husband says he is like a different dog when I go out but instead of correcting Beau he films him instead. His antics so make me laugh but I wish he would leave my clothes alone. Oh in case you are wondering why I am so stupid as to leave things lying around I don't. He removes my things from the coat hook. Such a clever boy!!! GRRR

My Dexter attacks my dog walking coat! He pulls on the bottom of it to make me leave the house quicker! If I'm on the computer (like now!),he pulls on my sleeve to stop me typing and give him attention, and if I'm washing up or cooking,he jumps up and hangs off the bottom of my shirt!
He also loves socks so much that the first thing he does in the morning when he comes out of his crate,is to go on a search in our bedroom to see if he can find any!

Ah naughty Nacho! - or maybe he's just clever and senses your 'knotted stomach'? You may be more tense than usual and maybe he's picking up on that in a kind of doggy attention seeking way! Hope you have a great trip but I can just imagine the feelings you are going through! x

Each comment on this thread made me laugh so hard! I am at work and always pull up this site to view new posts and my co worker just popped her head in and told me to "pipe down the laughing"!! You should all pool puppy antics together and write a book! Claire . .I'm so sorry you've had a frustrating day, but your comments certainly helped make mine much better! Mainly because I can identify so well, even as a new owner! Yesterday Sami was stalking a catapillar crawling across the garden walk and I grabbed him to run for my camera so I could capture that "perfect shot" . . when I returned and put him down he quick as lightning grabbed the catapillar in his mouth and was off like a locomotive zooming around the entire back yard area, ears flying and always looking behind himself (Knowing full well it would be in vain for me to even think I would catch him)! Moments later he comes PRANCING across the yard, quite proud of himself . . I dont even want to guess what happened to the catapillar, never saw it again
