You will all know by now our night time woes with Oscar crying, well today we went out and left him alone in the house on his very own "jack jones".

We were worried that he would whimper and whine and wee everywhere while we were out. We came home with great trepidation, knowing that Dexie would be soundo upstairs but expecting a scene from Libya in the kitchen.

We were VERY pleased to see him wander round the corner, bleary eyed and totally pooped having been out for the count and looking very puzzled.. "Why have you disturbed my sleep?" He blinked at us!!!!

There was not a hint of wee anywhere either, especially good seeing as we had accidentally left the living room door open!!

Dexie has been a fine big sister and is setting an exemplary standard.

How long did you go out for ? I want to go out and leave Buddy just so he gets used to it but i would have to put him in the crate so dont think i should leave him for more then an hour?

I am so proud of Oscar... keeping up the great behaviour and chin up all cockapoos puppies

Hi Donna

We made a point of making it a short outing so i think it was just over the hour, like you we thought we needed to start leaving him to see how he would be - he was a star !!!

Donna, I have left Izzy completely on her own for an hour, in her crate (whilst walking Phoebe) - I could hear her crying, but she was quiet when we came in.

Right im doing it today,i have left him but my son has been in the other room and he said Buddy cried alot.

Brought a nylabone yesterday JD recommend,boy did he love it!!! so think i will put one in his crate while im out that should keep him busy.
