Hi there
I'm considering a first pup. Does anyone have any thoughts about health, coat and demeanour if the mum is a poodle and the dad a show cocker?

Hello. Our gisgo is now 17 weeks & is from that breeding. It's too early to say much about his final coat but looking at all pictures on here, I can see no difference at all. His dad (cocker) was optigen tested clear.

On a recent walk, we met a gorgeous cockapoo called Ted and his mum was a white poodle and dad was american cocker. My daughter took a pic of him and I hope the owner doesn't mind me sharing!! I have tried to upload it for you to have a look at.

There are two Cockapoos near me who have Poodle Mums. One is from Anzil and looks like a white version of Daisy (loose/curly coat) and the other has a denser curlier coat. Both fabulous and both have that Cockapoo 'look'.

The coat cam still moalt eaither way round. its the luck of the draw. i have 4 and the all have different coats they all shed a little but not a notesable amount.
