Rupert started his training for the Olympics today. Maybe sounds a tad more impressive than it actually was! Lots of practising wait, heel work, walking over poles etc Positively no jumping - except all the leaping about with excitement after he'd walked over the poles... Best thing as far as he was concerned was all the yummy treats on offer and hoovering up crumbs.
Talk about throwing down the gauntlet! I took Buzz and Yum-Yum to their 3rd agility class last night but I haven't started the three puppies yet. Better get Yogi, Woody and Woodetta started if they are going to keep up with George.:twothumbs:
Yep, it's a 6 week course. Then we'll probably have a break until spring and just practice stuff in the garden. Don't fancy doing it in bad weather. Obedience classes are indoors so we might stick with them through the winter, snow allowing!
You're so lucky, we don't have anything anywhere near us to do now - the best we've been offered are more beginners classes - but Izzy is such a :star: laugh that there's not much point in repeating it!
Haha - I can see lots of us are going to start rising to the Cockapoo Olympics Challenge and there will be some pretty good cockapoos out there come September 2012. Right - I'm going on a diet and dragging out the cross trainer so I can get round the agility course looking like something that at least resembles a 'handler' with Flo. Last time I attempted to keep up with Flo at agility I fell at the weave poles
