Do you buy your dog products online ? I'm not sure if I'm using the right brush on Kirby I feel its abit spikey tho he doesn't moan while I'm brushing him, the pet shop here really has not a big selection. can any recommended a good brush and comb and what is the one piece you can not do without

i either go to Pets at home which is local for me or I order online. I have a few different brushes.

I start with a wide tooth brush like this:

I use one of these for matts:

I did use one of these but I have lost it :( so now use a normal slicker brush

And finally I use a comb:

I think it might also depend on your Cockapoo's coat type as to what suits you. Hope this helps :)

I know lots of people find the Les Pooches brushes to be brilliant, but Izzy really hates them (I have the red and green) so I use the slicker, comb and small scissors to cut down the matts a la Kendal advice.

I lost my Les Pooches brush  My 'dog stuff' basket was next to the recycling basket and I think it might have accidently gone in! :( Since losing it I have used a slicker from PAH instead and I actually though there was not much difference apart from the LP brush having a flexible head. I just wondered Cara what you felt the differences were? I am not going to replace mine as I have enough brushes to do the jobs (and they are expensive) but I was interested in your thoughts as another owner who has tried them? :D
