I read, before getting Bette Davis, that Cockapoos are very intelligent. I am so impressed. Bette has been here all of 28 hours, and she has mastered something very scary (I would think) for a blind dog. There is a not so secure step from the house to the deck, then 2 too-steep steps to the grass. She is intimidated going down them, and I don't blame her--but she just found her way from the grass to the first steps, went up them on her own, then directly to the step inside, and up that on her own! It's probably silly, but I'm so proud of her!: Cockapoos are brilliant!
Not silly at all, I am constantly amazed at the intelligence of dogs (I've never had one before) when I'm at training I love to see what all the puppies can do I guess Bette is going to surprise you all the time
Thank you! Bette is doing so well, just a little guidance needed outside. Inside, she's all cockapoo, forget the blind part--except she loses her toys easily. Made the mistake of getting her a babble ball. She figured out if she barks, it will start babbling...so she only gets it when I'm going out!
