Well, I took Maisie and Bess out for a short walk up the High Street yesterday with my son, just to socialise, we only walked about 300 yards or so from the car to the pet shop.

We were stopped 5 times by people (all female!) saying "what lovely dogs" ... "what breed are they?" ... "what a lovely colour" ... "would like to take one home" ... "look so cuddly" ... etc. Saw several people just looking and smiling to themselves as well.

Wow!!! I hadn't expected that ... felt so proud to have cockapoos! :proud::proud::proud:

Ah lovely. Millie often got stopped as a puppy. One day to the point where she looked at us as if to say i'm tired now! But she loved her celebrity status. She got to the point where is expected everyone who passed her by, to stop and make a fuss.

Now she's an adult we don't get stopped anywhere near as often. But we're not ignored either :)

It would seem the combination of puppy and cockapoo is an irresistible mix. Don't you just love them :) :D

I still get this quite a lot - but not AS often as when she was a puppy. It's funny though as soon as they stroke Betty I know EXACTLY what they are going to say next.. Oh she' soo soft.... every time.... without fail:D:D

Ha ha!! Sounds familiar!! When Betty was tiny it would take me about 30 mins to do a 5 min walk and I ended up being late for everything. I've had people ask to buy her from me which I think is a bit weird!! I think she's gorgeous as she's mine but it amazes me how many other people feel the same about her.

I had a couple of ladies who pulled over, parked up & got out to stroke Dexter !!!

It certainly seems the case that you can't have a quick walk. While in Pets at Home a lady had a cuddle - then about 10 minutes later she came looking for me for another cuddle !!
