Firstly I want to thank you for all your great advice, both in person when i went on the cockapoo bushy park meet in march and also online.

I have been doing so much cockapoo research over the last 4 months (bordering on obsession) and am finally in a position to definitely commit to a puppy. We exchanged on our flat sale/house purchase in Brighton today and now know we will definitely be in a position to have our puppy at the end of July! :)

I have found a great hobby breeder who I am really happy to go with. She has provided me with lots of information and has been extremely helpful, sending photos and replying to emails straight away. My F1B puppy was born on sunday to a cream cockapoo mother and a cream miniature poodle dad. We can choose him/her in 3 and a half weeks!

Just hope the cats know what's coming!

I will update you when I go and visit with photos of the chosen puppy!

Just had to share my excitement!

That's great news Eleanor as I know you've put a lot of research into it, especially by going to the cockapoo meet, which I'd planned to go to but couldn't at the last minute. Looking forward to hopefully meeting you at the next one! We often pop down to the coast too so maybe we can meet up there too. x

Thanks everyone! I'm so excited about moving and the puppy!

Puppy choosing countdown has begun, that will be in approx 4 weeks! Oooh!

We won't be able to collect the puppy until it is just under 11 weeks. The breeder has agreed to this. Do people think this is ok? Do you reckon the breeder will have taught any commands by then? I suppose so. I will ask her.

Will definitely post updates. There are 4 apricots and 2 creams in the litter, but I reckon the apricots will lighten to golden at least. I would like one of the apricot girls I think.

Super excited, but apprehensive about the massive life change!

Oh and if anyone could recommend a thread to me which lists all the things I will need to buy then please point me in the right direction! :)
