Very excited as we are due to collect our Cockapoo puppy Stevie on Sunday.:)
This will be our first dog as a family, although we did have dogs when I lived at home.
Could anyone recommend what to use as a treat when toilet training, some books seem to recomend using their normal food (currently James Welbeloved Puppy food) others have suggested using chicken, and advice very welcome

How exciting :D I bet you can't wait!
Tbh we haven't been treating Poppy too much for going out & she is doing very well so far :) But I would say chicken is a good treat, as they love it so much they would want to keep you happy to get some more :D Haha, enjoy your pup!

Hello! How exciting for you!

Daisy also loves chicken as a treat especially if it is leftovers from a roast! We struggled with a lot of bought treats but she also loves cocktail sausages or frankfurters cut up into small pieces. :)

Good luck with Stevie!

Is Milo your first dog? He looks so cute. We have a 5-6 hour round trip to pick up Stevie, depending on the M25 which I'm not looking forward to. Just hoping she sleeps and settles on the way home.

She will most probably snooze most of the journey ... puppy's tend to sleep on the way home :) I bet you are soooo excited ... hope you have done all the puppy shopping :)
Thanks Jo Jo and thanks for your help when I mailed you via My dogs life for a device about health screening when I wasn't quite sure what was what
