Hello everyone,

Not really so much in the way of a question but an expression of my own excitement(!), but just wanted to see if any of you had taken your pups to a Puppy Party run by the vet before, and how your pups have reacted. He's had his first vaccine a couple of weeks ago and is 11 weeks tomorrow.

I will be taking Jarvie to one tomorrow and I could not be more excited! I hope he loves it! Apparently another Cockapoo may be in attendance (from another litter - a brother from another mother, if you will!)
I think I'll probably be more excited than him though... haha.

Hope you are all well. :D

Definitely! Although, I may need a hand to put them up! Rubbish at stuff like that!

And by the way, that is such a great name. Noodle! I love it! So cute.

We have just received our invite to the puppy party in June at our vets which my daughter is really excited about. Beau went to puppy training last week and loved being with the other smaller puppies though the Great Dane and German Shepherd puppies were a bit intimidating for her so she kept hiding under the chair!

Awww, bless her! I think my dog may be daft enough to go and have look!
I just hope he doesn't react how he does when he sees a cat in the garden and we have a chase situation!

Rosie really surprised me at her puppy party. She was by far the most confident pup there and was taking on even the big puppies. It was all just playing, but she completely dominated them all and I ended up having to pick her up and calm her down every now and then to give some of the smaller puppies a bit of a break!

It was so worthwhile though. Nice to socialise them and nice for them to have something fun to associate the vets with, rather than just the jabs! If you get chance to take photos, I will be AMAZED! I was on the edge of my seat the whole time!

OOOO photos would be great, if you can manage a free hand....what fun. Socialization is so important, I wish our vet had these

I will do my best to get some photos and make a folder on here - although, with regards to my dog, all you will see is a zooming black blob if my previous attempts are anything to go by! :D

Puppy party's are great. So nice to see the pups all playing together in a very controlled environment, and from out vets we got a goody bag just like taking the kids to a party. Got very good advise from the vet nurse and trainer.
20 months on and most of my photos are just of black blobs.

Fortunately we have a year old cat that thinks she is a kitten and likes to play with Beau so she doesn't chase the cats around the garden (probably too afraid to) ;)

How amazing, a puppy party - you don't get those is rural Devon, the vets spend all day with their arms up the backside of a cow! xx
