Just wanted to let you know that the Cockapoo Owners Club has managed to get a 10% discount on members first order with RawtoGo. If anyone wanted to try raw for the first time or wanted to try some new flavours with their Cockapoos, it is a good opportunity to try them out! :)

Just wanted to say i placed my first order with rawtogo last week and got my 10% discount (thanks sarah). My order arrived yesterday as planned and was well packaged. The meats look great, the girls had duck last night and this morning and have tripe for tea :/. I have been trying to find a halfway house between NI which i like but don't quite 'need all that' if you get what i mean and doing it from scratch. I already blend my own veg and give bits and bobs along the way so wanted a supplier of a good variety of meats/ minces. Rawtogo has achieved this and the customer service i recieved was second to none, the lady kept me informed throughout the order process and everything that was promised, she delivered on. Thankyou to sarah for finding them!
Anyone who was thinking about ordering from them- i would definately give them a try! :)

Thank you Katie.

I am really glad that you gave them a try and liked them. :) Lesley is really helpful and like you say, keeps you informed throughout.

Daisy hasn't got bored of their minces, this might be because of the variety I am able to get her. She particularly likes the tripe minces although my children moan when she has those! They also sell chicken/duck/turkey necks which are a firm favourite with Daisy. :)

Thank you for the feedback it is really lovely to hear. :)

I wish I could get Bobs onto this. At the moment he is on Chappie kibble which is the only thing he will eat regularly - obviously has cheap taste!!

I might order a few turkey necks just to see (once again) if he will eat it, but I have no doubt that he will do his usual 'poo dance around it and then leave it, like he has all the other times I have tried it!

Have you tried any raw minces before?

If not it is worth trying them. The tripe and chicken is a great one for hetting them tempted. Smells a bit grim but I haven't heard of a dog not being tempted by tripe yet (someone will come on now and say their dog hates it!). are can't tell where you are but if you were going to the Sy albans meet I could bring you some?

I share orders with another local Cockapoo owner to save on postage...maybe there is someone else nearby who might want to try it?

If I can be of any help, let me know. :)
Thats really kind of you but I am afraid I live a bit too far away - Liverpool :)

I have tried him with raw mince, fresh chicken, chicken legs.............he either turns his nose up at it and literally walks away in a huff, or he carries the leg into the living room, puts it in the middle of the rug and then has a bit of fun.

First, he leaps towards it and then leaps back and barks, he goes down into that bum in the air stance and jigs sideways and back and so on it goes till he gets fed up with that and lies down, leaving it to fester in the middle of the room!

He did eat a bit of raw stewing steak the other day and enjoyed it, so maybe he is starting to understand that meat is good :)

I have also given him Naturediet, Natures Menu and the frozen Prize Choice stuff too, but the only dog food that he really will eat all the time is Chappie kibble - how weird is that?!

Oh bless him, how funny....but not if you have meat sitting in the middle of your floor! It might be worth trying tripe, Daisy and her Cockapoo pal Max go mad for it, just the delivery arriving sends Daisy wild!
Cockapoo dance-I like that. Izzy does that to anything and everything I give her. She often then leaves things for hours and then goes back and eats them. It seems like saving your favourite chocolate until you can resist no longer!

If you use Prize Choice then try their 2kg bags.

I get their Poultry necks, Chunky Tripe and the heart. I have found their chunky tripe not to be as smelly as their minced one.

It's good alternative to those who cannot place large orders or do not have enough freezer space.
