Yes but, does chew constantly when he is awake.
Sorry is that yes he has been sick or yes he is well? And chews what constantly?

Only a week
If he is being sick I would take him to the vets for a check up. If he is at all listless or not lively, eating and drinking ok I would take him urgently.
