We'd like to say a big thank you to Stephen and Julia at Jukee Doodles for having us to visit yesterday. We have chosen a gorgeous playmate for Ruby - Pepper is going to be coming home with us on 1st October.

Any advice on introducing a second Cockapoo would be greatly appreciated!

Congratulations! So you're the lucky one to get Molly2's lovely blue roan! How exciting!

I think you'll find introducing number 2 to your family much easier than having an 'only pup'. Pepper will take Ruby's lead in how to behave and Ruby will do a lot of the entertaining for you too! It will probably take Ruby a few days ....sometimes a few weeks, to accept Pepper but they'll be best buddies in no time.

My main advice would be to make sure you give each of your dogs some solo time with you. Ruby will be missing her special times and Pepper will need to learn to look to you first, as leader, rather than Ruby.

You'll love having two. Double the fun and double the love.

Pepper is gorgeous, as far as introducing her to Ruby is concerned, I agree with all Karen said, you really don't need to have any concerns at all, it'll be great and they'll adore one another - my 11 year old cocker took 10 days to fall for Izzy

What a beautiful puppy! We have pretty much decided when our Rubys a bit bigger we are going to get another cockapoo. Will definately be a blue roan or black and white for us they are just stunning.
