Not sure if this is something any one else's 'poo does but it does make me giggle.

When i take Betty out for a walk or for the toilet, if she goes for a poo she ALWAYS goes with her back to me like she doesn't want to be watched. It often makes me laugh as she's ended up facing into shop windows so as to have her back to me! Today she shot down an alley way just so she could have a poo in private!!

Is this just something my mad dog does???

HAHA that's really funny bless her :D
I'm not sure if this is what most cockapoos do or not?
My Izzie doesn't have to be #private' but when she poos she always turns her head to look as us as if to say 'why do you always have to watch me have a poo :/' HAHA :)
My mum only mentioned it today on our walk, so this thread made me laugh :)

Lol!!! Betty always looks at me when she goes for a wee which i think must stem from praising her and giving her treats for weeing outside when she was little. I'm sure she still thinks she should get a treat as it looks as if she is looking at me as if to say "look i'm weeing, where's my treat?".

When Freddy goes, he finishes up and runs quickly away - as if he is distancing himself from the crime and his expression is like "THAT is nothing to do with me". This happens when he is on the lead and off.

The funniest time this happened was a couple of months ago. I was all ready with poo bag in hand, I bent down to pick it up and he sped away quickly behind me, I ended up falling backwards on to my bottom. Highly embarassing :D

Deefer is an "embarrassed" pooer! He has taken to rushing around the side of the house and doing his business in the sideway along our house - which is fine until desperate and then suddenly there it is in front of the garage door!. We have had to purchase lights for the side of the house which come on when he dashes by! (pampered pooch!)

Hello all

I am new to this as my partner found the website last night, but was reading this post and thought I just had to sign up.

Our dog Gonzo is shy when going to the toilet. He turns his back and then looks behind his shoulder to say 'why are you looking at me do you mind'. He also has a habbit of walking round in circles sometimes so not staying in one place. He is that shy if we are on a walk somewhere where we havnt been before he will wait to go until we get home.
He also still pees like a girl dog! :)

Hey Carly, my Eric still pee's like a girl and he is 1 at the weekend!! He is also a very shy pooer ,,,, he walks round in circles and looks at us in disgust when we watch him!!!

He does have a nasty habit of occasionally cleaning up after himself as well,,, but we make sure we clean up after him all the time so he doesn't get the chance. Yuk.
