We will be able to bring our new cockapoo home to meet our labrador on 30th July. Have your new cockerpoo pups got on well with your existing pets?

Hi there

well I have three cockapoos who are 2 months apart in age all from different litters and they have welcomed each other perfectly, also I have friend and my parents have dogs, my dogs mix well with all dogs. Honey lets off a bark when we are on a dog walk, but up close and off leads with other dogs they are all great. Just introduce in a controlled manor and observe. How old is your lab?
Hi my lab is nearly 8 but her best friend is a cockapoo and she has always been really good with her and never exerted her strength or size. Might be different having one 24/7!

I can vouch for that as i'm the cockerpoos mum:D

Sooooooooo excited Myra, can't wait to bring our puppys home. We are going to have a ball walking all our pooches together. :D

I am sure they will be fine together.. just Lola may be a bit lively in the beginning but I am sure Clara will put her in her place very quickly and let lola know when enough is enough ...

My only advise would for you not to worry about it and they will sort it out .. enjoy it they will be playmates and you will love watching all the fun things they do together ...

Myra add lots of pic ... of Clara and of little Lola xxxxx

Hi Lola is on my intro bit, she is a choccy colour. Myra
Hi Myra... Lola is a lovely name. Im sure they'll be fine, it'll probably easier for your pup cos there s an older dog. When Mable came home, Wilf was interested then they just played and played ... then at bed time Mable just whimpered for about a minute and Wilf cried until 2.30 :D
Welcome Myra. We brought Holly home nearly 4 weeks ago now and our 2 big gingertoms are just about tolerating her!! They are 4 and big boys at a good 7kg each. Holly loves them so much and wants to play with them but they are just happy to tease her:rolleyes:

Holly adores everyone and everything  I am sure Lola will be just fine:)

Oh a choc girl ... she is perfect

Think I will go for a choccy or apricot next time ....

Is she solid choc or has she got any markings?

Wilf probably foresaw how much Mable was going to boss him around. He was obviously having a last-ditch protest

Hi, she's got a lighter colour coming through underneath so will be an interesting mix I think. Will love her whatever colour she finally becomes.
