Just been talking to Clare (Jedicrazy) and we are planning to meet up. With that in mind, we thought we'd spread the word and see if anyone else fancies a mini meet up.

Tuesday 28 February around 10am at Rothampstead Park in Harpenden. I can't find a post code, but if you google it and look for Leyton Road, there is an unnamed road running along the bottom edge of the park. This unnamed road actually connects on to the St Albans Road A1081, even though its not shown. The unnamed road is the best place to park as its free.

Drive along it and although you'll think you've trespassed into the Rothampstead Research Station, you haven't.

Keep driving all the way along that road and the buildings finish. On the right, before the road takes a sharp left turn, is lots of parking. Park up and walk to the end of road (where the sharp left turn is, all of 50m) and on the right is a tree lined path which is the start of the park.

Hope thats all clear, I know its a mid weeker, but if anyone local (or not so local) fancies a Poo walk, we'd love to see you.

Thanks for posting Julie :).

The name of the road to turn off is West Common and it's off the main A1081 St Albans Road (don't go to Leyton Road as it's too far down). If you're coming from St Albans then it's the third turning on the left after the Redbourn roundabout and if you've coming through Harpenden High Street then it's the first right after the Silver Cup pub. It's clearly signposted Rothampsted Research Centre. Just drive straight through the business park and you'll see a sports field on the left with free parking opposite. Best postcode for Sat Navs AL5 2JQ.

As Julie says, all welcome! :)

Ah just realised I can't make Tuesdays or Wednesdays, I have a large Labradoodle to walk and his manners aren't that great so wouldn't want to bring him and ruin your nice walk!!
Are you sure Karen, remember Millie & Lolly are pretty full on when they're together. Maybe they will stun the Labradoodle into best behaviour :D

OK, lets plump for Weds 7 March. Don't fancy having to dodge the tree felling too.

A mini meet, for
Clare & Obi
Julie & Millie
Janet & Lolly

& if Karen can change her mind, with Weller & Labradoodle

Wow, you do have your hands full. I presume he's one of your day care dogs and not one you've added to your own clan. How's Weller with him?

By the way, I've just noticed that your are a Super Moderator, what is that ? Did you post loads or is it promotion from Dave?

Ha ha well mo ( lady Amanda) and I have been brought on to the team to help Kendal keep everything in good order. So yes in a way we have been promoted ha ha. As for mad Marley, he is a sweet lovely puppy doodle who I walk twice a week but he has developed some real issues and lack of manners around other dogs, Weller just stays out of his way, I can tell by the way he looks at him he thinks he is not quite the full ticket! I hope to work with his owners to change this but I would spend all walk holding a lunging barking dog and I don't think you all would enjoy it and he would stress out too, bless him. He is only 6 months and huge!
