Let me know what you think of the new haircut. I'm really not keen on the new cut. I've attached old and new haircut shots for comparison. Took him for a walk afterwards and someone said; "What is he a poodle?" Opinions appreciated

what was it you asked for. to be honest if hou asked everyone on the forum what they thaught of their cockapoos first hair cut. most will say rhey didnt like it. i didnt like any of mine, well i did like echo but i has been clippinh the other two for almosr a year so was comfertable with what i wanted them to look like. but is did miss her shaggy locks.

i like my lot short on rhe boddy bur with longer hair on their legs.
dont worry it will grow back in no time. oh and when i get comments from people asking if ghey are poodles i just tell them they are half rite lol.

I'm resisting getting Dylan clipped - I love him shaggy, but I'm trying to trim the hair round his eyes, not very successfully!
After he was attacked, the vet suggested that I keep his hair short as an adult, because she said that long hair makes them more liable to be attacked - apparently aggressive dogs get confused by long hair, but I would prefer to get him clipped as little as possible.

yeh i laughed when wilf was first cut i could nt stop i think i offended the groomer. i think thy look wrong when they take the legs and the nose too short. makes them look very poodly when they take the nose too short .... maybe get apicture you like and show the groomer alot of them have cut cockapoos so dont know what to do x

I know exactly what you mean. When Axle got his first haircut, I went to go pick him up and the second I saw him I was like "o...m......g...." he looked so different. I like the longer shaggy look so I just keep up with his hair myself. And I must agree, I was laughing so hard I felt so bad but I could not help it.
