Hi, my adorable guy is still biting at certain times, especially when we try to let him in our bed. When we lay down next to him he starts biting our hands, not hard but more playful. But if we stand up he stops? Could he still be teething at 7 months or should that be finished by now? It appears as if all of his adult teeth are in but he still chews a LOT. Just curious. Thanks.

Im sure at this age i started to stop Buddy doing this by saying a firm NO he had learnt to have a soft mouth so i felt he should learn this is unacceptable now ,i would distract with other things .Also make sure he has something nice to chew on in case he is still teething.

My son had his friend over last night and Buddy decided to start tugging on his trousers which he hadnt done for months and months so i think the training will be on going!!

Hattie still uses an open mouth when she is excited, when I have had enough I hold her mouth shut and say a firm no this works very well and she complies. She has never bitten me but she uses her open mouth as another way to investigate her enviroment, I don't mind for a bit but I will not be mouthed so she knows how far she can go. She is nearly 7 months.
