Hi everyone,
My Archie had the op 10 days ago and has had to wear the lovely lampshade the whole time. He has been so well behaved with it and never tried to get it off. The 2 stitches come out today and the head gear also. I can't wait to kiss his lovely ears and face again. I know i sound mad but he really has been so good. He climbed on me this morning and gave me the most lovely cuddles. He really is my best boy.

Hi Jayne Archie has been so good with it all. He accepted the lampshade thingy and never tried to remove it which made it easier for me as i didn't feel so mean. I don't crate him as when i'm out he goes in the kitchen with a baby gate and as he had the collar on he could'nt scratch but to be honest it didn't really irritate him. He amazes me as to how good he really is.He didn't cry at night either. I bet you will be surprised with little George. Have you got any photo's of him? This was my Archie tonight.

Hi Jo Jo,i was advised by my vet to only allow him in the garden for ten mins and no leash walking as they said if Archie:eek: over exerts himself then the wound could fill with blood and obviously i didn't want that so thats what i did. His wound stayed clean and dry. He had his first walk today and thoroughly enjoyed it. It's lovely to snuggle into his ears again. I'm sounding soppy now!
