Strange puppy

Izzy has a thing for climbing/jumping onto furniture, the hall table is no longer used as a chucking things on when you come in place, as Izzy takes them off again, but this afternoon she excelled herself - she jumped up, and did a wee on my phone bill on the table!
Is this toddler or teen stage?

She was just upset at the outrageous amount they want you to pay!!!!

At least I have been forewarned ...
Oh Ali ... I am too busy laughing at Izzy to be serious or cross ... weeing on the phone bill .. perfect lol
She's being good now, had a little time out in her crate while I ate my tea, now attacking her chew - back to the VAT!

George is just the same , I was beginning to secretly dspair as he is getting up to all sorts of antics
It will all pass I promise! when we had Lady in puppy class she was always the star...untill one day she wouldn't listen to the trainer....she looked at me and said...she is 4 months isnt she....lol yupppers! it didn't last too long tho!

I had wondered.....

Izzy has always been soooo good - I'm not sure what's hit me! Just popped to the loo, and she's found a packet of chocolate biscuits, so now I can worry about that! She's now lying with a rawhide bone, a tug toy and a cuddly seal, making little whimpering noises - I think her teeth are sore :( I'll go and get some chamomilla for her tomorrow.
Everything comes at once doesn't it - I imagine you found it hard taking your daughter back to Uni. My 2nd son goes off on Saturday - I'm still in denial.. We have so much to do before then too! Plus, I'm selling my business, I've not been well and my body doesn't know what it's meant to be doing!

Well, Mo, I hope you're right and it doesn't last long - or you may find a few parcels being delivered to your door :D
I would take them with open arms!!!!!
Oh I will have naughty cockapoos :)

Ali & Jayne ... all mine have pushed me and been hardest at around 5 months stage .... but not really naughty .. it is just a blimp ... well until the next issue lol

Puppies are hard work for the first few weeks .... you get over that and think you are getting settled, then around 5 months it gets tricky again .. promise after this blimp ..it is an easy ride ... well its still dog ownership by hey its all good fun :)

I think we both had it easy when they were tiny :D
Bit like kids, the easy toddlers are hard work as teenagers!

I think weeing on the phone bill is an excellent strategy. Good Girl Izzy :D :D :D
Luckily I pay by direct debit

My Izzy has been doing this lately! She has learned all sorts of tricks, but it seems lately I can scarcely get so much as a "sit" unless I have a treat. I'm glad to hear it's normal

glad to hear it's a temporary phase...DH and I have been so frustrated!
.....but I don't want it all to go wrong! Basil has done no naughty 'toileting' in the house in four days now (which is brilliant for him as I'm sometimes just a bit too busy looking after other members of the family to watch him all the time), and he is doing amazingly at puppy training class. The trainer keeps saying ...'we'll do some more on this next week as they still need more practice - there's only one puppy that's ready to move on to the next stage (and guess who that is, bless him!). Please don't let it all go wrong ...please! :D

Karen xx

I would forgive Izzy anything. She is booooooooootiful and scrummy. :D:D:D

That's about where we were at Karen! Frustrating, but if it's really a short phase....

I do forgive her anything - I'm a pushover, and she's my baby! :love-eyes:

Last night after weeks of dry nights and no accidents in the house during the day, Nacho at 17 weeks looks at me in disgust (after he growled at me when I took away my inhaler from his mouth) and then decided to **** his leg (he is very proud of himself and discovering this new talent) and weed all over my bathroom door. Cheers Nacho!!
Reading this brings a smile to face at least all our puppys are the same! Buddy decided to leave me a present upstairs the other night ,he was really good though at least it was in the bathroom (he must of known this was the correct place for a number 2 after following us all to the toilet all the time)
My daughter was less impressed when he bit the hand off a bratz doll ! Must say i had a little chuckle to myself.
Oh sorry for chuckling everyone... at least its not boring, you cant help but love 'em x

Not had any accidents or little presents from Rosie for a while, must be lucky.
Poppy was and still is the climber, Rosie is to lazy and has to be lifted up.
Thankfully Poppy doesn't do this anymore.
