I looked at quite a few in the pet shop the day we went to choose Lolly and they all looked quite similar in advice. I went for the one that looked the most user friendly to me with easy to read, concise advice which was the KISS (keep it simple) one.

Try these starting with Gwen Bailey's perfect Puppy...

Great, practical book to start with. Read before puppy arrives http://www.amazon.co.uk/Perfect-Pupp...5144667&sr=1-1

This book is full on in approach but good basic principles. I took a lot from this and watered down and applied some ideas. http://www.amazon.co.uk/Before-after...5144565&sr=1-1
