I took Weller and the others for a nice, sunny walk around Cassiobury park this morning. It was all going fab until Weller found the biggest pile of fox poo ever, fresh too :( oh how he rolled and rolled and rolled again for good measure.

There was no way he was getting in my car stinking like that so we headed for the dog wash ;)
It worked a treat.

Of his own choice or you just wouldn't let him out:D:D
Lol I now have a vision of Weller swimming to the edge and Karen pushing him back in!!

I am still to experience the joy of fox poo - Betty has never rolled in it.
I wonder why some dogs are attracted to it and others are not??
My Betty has only done it once so far (fingers crossed that continues!!)

you will know when she does Colin!!!!
Yes he will! I always wondered what the fuss was about until she rolled in it and then I realised!!!!!

Colin Fox poo is a right of passage it is right up there with Badger poo, if you have not yet experienced it you are very lucky! I had a Cairn who could find mud in July, had a hire car once big sticker saying no dogs, ignored that went for woodland walk Brian (the Cairn) went off into the woods and came back loking as if he had been dipped in chocolate! Lots of car cleaning just got away with it but oh the smell! I think all dogs love something really smelly yuck!!

Well done Weller, chap after my own heart. Cassiobury is a favourite of Millie's but oh boy, does she get smelly every time we go. I have been known to stand in the water with Millie washing her off.

My friend who's a dog groomer was amazed at how really muddy Millie got on one of our walks. She laughed and said, well there's not much poodle in there, they are really fussy dogs and wouldn't go anywhere where'd they get dirty. :D
