OMG I woke up to a brand new puppy today! I think it's safe to say she is comfortabe here and feels safe showing us the "real" Olive! Crazy puppy! I'm not complaining because i knew this was coming, but I was kind of getting used to the quiet, mild puppy I've had all weekend! She is so crazy today, but it's also quite funny! I was doing laundry and she burrowed her way into a pile of dirty clothes. When she finally came up for air she had a fine prize indeed.....my daughter's princess underwear! She's also gotten her first bath from me today as she decided a mud puddle in the back yard was the perfect place for a quick roll! Then as soon as i got her out of the bath she cried to go outside. So of course i took her out and she did poop (yay), but then she lost her balance and fell back in to her poop  Back to the bath we went! Oh and every time the cat has tried to come upstairs to visit she's chased him back downstairs. She thinks it's fun.....him not so much!

She is so darn cute though!

lol. Love that picture!

I have to brag for a second.....I have an awesome puppy! From the minute she got home she loved her crate. She goes in it herself to sleep during the day and the times I've had to go out (longest was 2 hours) she's been perfectly fine with me putting her in the crate. No crying in the crate at all. SHe's only had one poop accident and that is because it was close to the time to take her out and I decided to leave her in the living room on her own. Since last night she has cried at the stairs that lead to the door 4 times and each time she has instantly pooped when i let her out. Oh and she sleeps at least 8 hours a night. I knowit's still early on, but i feel like we are off to a great start!

Jaime......you are one lucky lucky woman! She seems to have settled so easily! I didn't even get to sleep in bed for 2 weeks because of the crying! I am so glad she is being such a good girl for you......making me want one even more!!!!
