Well, I know when I last posted, Blossom was supposed to be spayed about 2wks ago but unfortunately the vet called to advise a piece of equipment had broken!
Blossom has been booked in for today (Friday)!! I'm rather nervous but hope it all goes well and she mends quickly.
After a long day at work today (thurday) I picked her up from my mums to discover my clean cream pouch was black as the ace of spades!!! Blossom had dug a huge hole in my mums garden! I was pretty gutted as I didnt want to be bathing her late this evening (thurday) but I had no choice...poor Blossom had to be bathed and blow dried at 10.30pm as I couldnt have her going to the vets looking a dirty scruff! Bless her.

I will post again to let you know how the keyhole spay went.xxxx

:ilmc:Thanku all for your messages.:)

Me and Lilya did have a little tear when we left her this morning. Took her teddy along with us so she didnt feel too lonely. We were able to pick her up at 2pm and she seemed pretty lively when we collected her. Once we were home she got straight in her bed and basically, she hasnt moved since!! I cooked her rice and chicken for tea and she ate every bit up but the worrying thing is she has not wee'd or poo'd all day!!
Blossoms poor little belly is totally bald but the actual wounds are looking very good! Just 2 holes either side and stuck together with glue. There are dissolvable stitches on the inside so should heel really well.
Good news, Blossom wagged her tail at me little while ago so Im hoping tomorrow I have a much happier little doggy.
We have 2 days of meds and then a follow up appointment in a few days.
Taverham vets was lovely, very clean, big and friendly and I am so glad its over with and we opted for the keyhole spay.xxxx

Sooo pleased that everything went well and that she has her waggy tail back (and done a wee) :) The bald tum grows back quite quickly and some people shave it as easier to cope with mud, rain etc and luckily with the gorgeous Blossom she is fluffy enough to hide this :) Even though it is the best sort of spay as less invasive she has still been through an operation so needs a bit of rest time and cuddles which I am sure she will be getting a lot off from both you and Lilya :) Don't forget to post a photo of her in the vest as they do look very cute! Big hugs to you all as now all over and you can stop worrying :) xxx

Thanks again:)...yeah Im looking forward to giving her lots of hugs tomorrow. Dont want to pull her about today, Just giving her space to rest. I will get a few piccies tomorrow and post soon. Once she is mended Im going to treat her to a Mucky Pups (grooming parlour) pampering and let her have the works bless her. But to top off the day my washing machine broke and I have a sick child...urgh! Roll on tomorrow! lol.xxx
