Two Year Miracle? Pottying in Rain?

Hey everyone, I've been MIA here too long. I've got another big question...actually two.

ONE: Has anyone experienced a two year miracle with their cockapoo(s)? Our Scottish Terrier is 10 months older than our two cockapoos. When he turned two last October, the maturing was visible. In the span of maybe two weeks, he no longer needed to be crated while we're at work. He became cuddly, far more than ever before. While he still plays and is clearly healthy, he just no longer seems like a puppy. Our cockapoos will be two in August. Their behavior is still aggravating at times, very puppy-like. I hope they have a miracle like their brother the Scotty did.

TWO: As many of you may also have experienced, we've been living under nearly-constant cloud cover and rain for the last, what, two or three weeks now? Our cockapoos are both undoubtedly trained. Until the last week or two, we hadn't had a mess in ages. I'm guessing it's the rain, but suddenly I've had to wipe up around a half dozen pee messes off the hard wood floor in my family room! They still go outside in our back fenced-in area like always, but I guess they're holding it? Anyone else struggle with rainy spells?

Advise and encouragement always appreciated.

Sincerely,
Discouraged Dog Dad :rain:

Hi yes my cockapoo noticeably matured around his 2nd birthday, he really grew up and I only now really class him as an adult dog. He is a real pleasure to have around. :)

As for the toileting in the rain, although Weller is never keen to go out in the rain, he has never resorted to going indoors, thankfully! So sorry I have no tips other than shutting them outside for piddles even when it's raining :)
Yipeee i cant wait till Bud is 2 then!!!(however im sure he will be the exception to the rule!!)

Buddy will do his business outside come rain or shine ,its just my fault when its raining i dont let him out as much as a wet muddy dog in the house is not much fun.

Maybe if you take them for more walk's rather then let them out in the back ,Buddy will wee more if he's walking ,sorry not much help really.x
Too cold to take their pants down outside:D

Yes! We have the problem with peeing in the house in the rain. It drives us mad. He has been housetrained for months but relapses in the rain He looks at us as if to say ok, I'll go outside and pee if you will ,
Bailey has had quite a few accidents over the last few days, I presume it's down to the rain as I'm still letting him out every hr (approx) and he'll come in and a few minutes later he's gone and done a wee :( prier to this he's not had any accidents for around 2-3 weeks xx
Neither of mine are keen to go outside in the rain- extraordinary for 2 dogs who can't keep out of water! Dexter will hold on for ages but Bonnie will pee in the house if I dont make her go outside!
Sorry but Hattie goes outside whatever the weather usually means me standing in the garden or a wet walk in an Equafleece but I would not tollerate toileting inside just becasue it is wet!

I do put him out but sometimes he'll wait until he gets back in to do his business(I do not tolerate it) but unfortunately I can't make him go wee wee x
