Hi I have just come back from the vets where Dexter had his first vaccination. Our next door neighbours have a puppy a week older than Dexter (Dexter is 8 weeks today) the vet said it would be o.k. for them to meet infact he said it would be good for them to socialise with each other. My neighbour said that she thought Dexter would have to wait until after his 2nd lot of vaccinations at 12weeks. Can anybody tell me what is the right thing to do as I have no idea. Thanks for any advice.

Hi sorry you are right that's what happens when you type with a puppy nibbling your toes. He will have his 2nd jab at 10 weeks not 12 weeks and then not go out until another 10 days after this.

nobivac is at least 2 weeks after 1st vacc or 10 weeks old at the earliest. Nobivac can also be given from 6 weeks old (but 2nd vacc still can't be given until 10 weeks)
Ooh 10 weeks (+ the 10 days or so after) I'm just trying to work out whether we'll be able to go to the Surrey meet at Virginia Water on 9th Oct!!
We might just get in there!!
Thank you!!
