i think spiders are things like google, yahoo, jeeves etc that serch for new topics that can be added to their server so its forund when people serch for them.

Where are the spiders?
When I have a look on the forum home page everyday it tells me how many members and guests are online but there is always '0 spiders'! Where are they all? I want a Spider member to join! Have the Cockapoos eaten them all?
