Hi

This may sound like a silly question, but I'm curious as to why our 8 month old wipes her chin on the doormat under her food bowl before and during a meal?

It started when we changed her from dry to wet food. If it only happened after eating, I would hazard a guess that she's trying to clean her beard and whiskers...BUT she does it habitually before starting to eat as well. Anyone got any ideas?!

We got one dog in the house that rubs his chin after a good meal along with rolling and grunting lol. My boy does it to an extent after a grooming, and my girl rubs on walls instead. It's a sign of happiness over here.

But just at her mat is a little odder, but could be the same easily, especially if it's a normal bristley doormat.
