Hi everyone :D

So I know there is interest on the other threads so I just want to try & get some ideas of numbers if people know they are definitely up for coming :)

Sunday 27th November at York racecourse, 12 noon start (try get there about 10-15 minutes earlier if possible.
I haven't actually been before, so Katie says the best place to meet would be on the road between the knavesmire and the smaller field and meet on the tarmac'd area close to the stands... (Ask her if you need to know anything about that - lola24 below)

So if people are still interested please reply & let me know
Would be lovely to meet lots of you ILMC members!
& if anyone needed a number of e-mail address for closer to the time for any questions, just PM me & ask :)

Count me and Lola in. I think Lynda and Ted are coming too.
I think it would be easy for most to park on the road between the knavesmire and the smaller field and meet on the tarmac'd area close to the stands......
To be fair i think we will be able to spot eachother a mile off with the small curly, bouncy dogs!!!!!
You can always take my mobile no and call me if there is a problem finding your way there. (that applies to anyone who is coming) :)

Is there a lot of space for parking on the road then?
I have never been, I decided York because it's not too far & I know a lot of people live there haha, sorry!
I am going to be taking a sat nav, is there an address or post code or something I can use to get me to that road?
I would probably be best taking your number, but I will make sure I set of extra early just incase :)

I'm really excited as well! Will be great to meet lots of cockapoos from the forum :D

So 2 cockapoos & ownners confirmed so far? :) Great stuff x

Knavesmire road is the one to park on- quite long so enough parking. The postcode starts YO24 1. Will PM you my number- if anyone else would like it, give me a shout!:)

I will be there, its a 5 minute walk for me. Another place to park is Cherry lane down the side of the Holiday Inn. If you follow it to the bottom there is a small car park there.
If anyone wants my mobile number give me a shout:D

Lol you will be fine, I used to live in Leeds and its not a bad drive and the racecourse is well signposted. The signs all direct you to Knavesmire rd as this is where most of the race traffic goes.

Yes I live that close and bet I will still be late:rolleyes::D

I hope so, i'm just terrible with directions which is why I will definitely be armed with a satnav ;) But it does look like a pretty simple route on google maps, so fingers crossed!
& I know what you mean, I am always late for everything! Which is why I am going to set off early haha, it's 35 minutes in the car for me to get there, so 11 o clock set off should do it! :)

Look forward to seeing you & Kiaya :) I wouldn't worry, my Poppy isn't allowed her first walk until a week on wednesday yet, so she'll just be getting used to it too lol. They can be puppy friends :) See you there! x
