Does anyone else get their poo all dolled up just to walk them around and show them off so people can tell you how cute they are? Or am I just that strange person?

Edit: I don't mean dressed in clothes or make up, I mean freshly washed, combed until the fur looks like candy floss/ cotton candy, smell good spray and if they are female, a bow or two.

When Obi was a puppy I did like to give him a bath before we went to a Meet or a doggie play date but the novelty soon wore off Now he only gets a bath if he needs one and sadly it's too often for my liking...damn fox poo

Not any more...I will still get her all clean and nice if we are going to someones house...but not for a walk. I only bath her when she needs it, and as for combing...she runs when she sees a brush in my hand....unless it is my hair brush, which she seems ok with! lol too bad it doesn't do a good job on her fur.

I do like to bathe her, comb her, and put bows in her hair! When I take her to my brothers baseball games, I put bows in her hair that match the team colours - that is always a hit! But I find that I don't need to do anything for her to get compliments, everywhere we go people are always telling me how beautiful she is!

I would far rather be complimented on my dogs behaviour than her looks to be totally honest

I don't really give him a chance to be too grubby (he's white) so he probably gets more baths than some poo's but it can be hard work especially if it's wet outside...

I have to confess I still like Betty yo look nice if we are meeting folks...but I think that is just because being a White dog she looks really skanky as soon as she gets a bit dirty...Ted being chocolate I don't have to bother at all..
