Dexter and I have met a couple of very badly mannered dogs this week in my local park on two separate occasions. Both were unneutered pedigree males (a westie and a cocker) and both were quite aggressive to my poor friendly boy. Dexter immediately lay on the floor in the submissive position (as if to say I dont want trouble mate) which he very rarely needs to do and both dogs then peed on him! I had to bath him both times as he stunk and was bright yellow! Boys can be so anti-social!

Oh poor Dexter and a pain for you to have to bath him too! What did the other owner say? I would be mortified if Obi did that to another dog.

Actually both were being walked by dog sitters/walkers as their owners were away for half term. I hadn't thought about it but perhaps that might be somthing to do with it?

Is Dexter done yet? Do you think it's because he's intact? I've met a few intact dogs that are not too friendly with Obi and we dont welcome their intentions. I've made a mental note of who they are and we avoid them as much as we can. I have to wait until Obi finishes his meds before he can be done so another 4 months or so for us.

This Shitz su at Pets at Home the other day was just walking around peeing on everything D:< His owners didn't even tell a member of staff! Vincent nearly walked into it

Oh that's awful. I've never heard of a dog actually peeing on another dog. How weird. I can understand marking territory as an in tact male but actually peeing on another dog!! Gross. Poor Dexter.

I am not planning to get Nacho done and am thinking perhaps down the line I would like him to be a father (way off yet - much more research to do first) but if he ever did that to another dog I would march him straight to the vets!! I would be very embarrassed. Poor Dexter - violated!

Thats awful poor thing sometimes i don't like meeting other dogs as some are so horrid xx
