Lola sleeps upstairs in her bed  (ahem so I think.. If you remember a previous thread regarding the guest bed!!) in the guest bedroom. Do I keep the girlies together or separate at night. Lola started off in the kitchen in her crate. Kind of in two minds with where to put Nina's crate. Hmmmmmm.... Need some help friends...

when Kiki was new she slept in the kitchen and Inzi had the run of the rest of the downstairs. That meant during the day she could go to bed easily and also it gave Inzi a break from her. Kiki tended to go to bed earlier than Inzi, who always keeps the latest to bed human company :)

Hard one but I remember asking, I think it all depends where no1 already sleeps. Wilf slept in the lounge so I was querying putting Mable in the kitchen but Kendal said if I was planning on them eventually sleeping together to have Mable in the lounge too. So that's what we did, Mable was fine Wilf cried on and off til 2 the first night, poor thing, I don't think he realised we were letting him keep her....wait and see with Fergus. Not sure what I'd do if I were you, could Nina go in with you until she's settled and Lola is used to her then try her in the guest room x

Jake was already sleeping in bed with us. He had spent the first six months in a crate in our room. Willow started in a crate in our room. That lasted as long as it took her to realize Jake was sleeping in the bed. That was about a month.
As you know, Willow is very spoiled so I guess I'm not the right one to weigh in.

Donna . . you made me laugh!!! They are so smart arent they?? Sami was also already sleeping with us when we got Carley so she went into a separate room where Sami had slept with a white noise machine. She did just fine for 9.5 months, then we let her try being out . . she still roams around a bit . . on the floor in the kitchen . . in her soft bed in our bedroom . . at times on our bed . . Sami sticks strictly by my side in bed or if hot he goes to the foot of the bed on his sheet I put over our bedspread.

Willow had taken to sleeping either on top of me or pinned to my side often under the blanket. It is awesome when I get a hot flash. She gets a bath.

:DHaha Donna I know what you mean about the hot flush, George has to be on the bed with me. During this warm weather I have had the fan going all night, suddenly I start feeling hot and George has blocked the air from the fan. There he is in front of the fan on his back and me wet through:rolleyes::ilmc: :focus:As Harry slept with us in the bed room when we got George he did as well.

When our friends dog stayed for 2 weeks some of those nights Lola wanted to sleep in the kitchen with her and she did no problem. I just wonder if we should relocate Lola to the kitchen then they can both come upstairs together when Nina has settled and doesn't need a toilet break at night? I don't want to disrupt Lola too much but I think it will benefit Nina to have her there. Oh I don't know! What a decision....

That sounds like a plan, if it doesn't work you can try something else....
